Hoorah! Summer's here and with it a new picture of myself plus friend Kay, rowing on Winchelsea Beach. (I love the sea but don't swim, so only take a boat out on dry land!) The kayak belongs to Marnie who is taking the photo - she was v. brave, sailing about on choppy seas, or fairly choppy seas.
I've done many more comedy gigs now; most of them enjoyable with a couple of absolute horrors thrown in. I managed single handedly to turn a cheerful, supportive audience into a silent, hostile mob one evening in Brighton. Consoled myself while waiting for last train home on a deserted Lewes Station, that alienating so many pleasant people was an achievement in itself!
My exciting news (for me) is that I'm doing a one-woman show as part of PBH's Edinburgh Free Fringe Festival. It's for an hour every day except Tuesdays between 8th and 29th August. The show's called SHUSH! and is series of short stories linked by a comedy narrative.
From 8th - 16th August a bit later in the evening I'll be joining comedian Karl Davison and friends as part of the Laid Back and Laughing Comedy Team. See News & Events.
Have a jolly summer!
