VG Lee is a popular lesbian author whose books have insured her, a secure and ever-expanding fan base. Whether performing at a large theatre such at The Cochrane, London or more intimate venues; The Marlborough Theatre, Brighton, The Cockpit, London, VG Lee has a talent for engaging an audience.

VG Lee has written three novels: The Comedienne, published by Diva Books, 2000, The Woman in Beige, Diva Books, 2003 and Diary of a Provincial Lesbian, Onlywomen Press, 2005. In 2008 her short collection As You Step Outside was published by Tollington Press.

In 2009, to celebrate her sixtieth year she became a stand-up comedian, performing over sixty gigs around the country. During that year she took her one-woman show, ‘SHUSH!’ to the Edinburgh festival and in January 2010 was a finalist in the prestigious Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2010 competition.

VG Lee has performed at numerous literature/comedy events and festivals including GFest, The Shout Festival in Birmingham, Homotopia, Laughing Cows, Polari and the Southbank’s London Literature Festival.
